Choosing the Right Testing Day
If your menstrual cycle is 28 days, begin testing on day 9 or 10 and continue until you get a positive ovulation test or reach cycle day 18. It is recommended to test twice a day to ensure you don’t miss the LH surge. For cycles that are shorter or irregular, start testing earlier. Prepare the Urine Sample
Collect the urine in a clean, dry urine cup. Do not consume too much fluid 1 to 2 hours prior to testing. Avoid using the first urine of the morning when taking an ovulation test.
